Excellent service. The visit to the practice was handled efficiently, and I was promptly referred to urgent care where I was seen without delay. They subsequently referred me back for blood tests, which were completed immediately. I received a follow-up telephone call to discuss the findings. Throughout the entire process, I was treated with speed, efficiency, and attentiveness at every stage. Well done.

Reception staff interrupted and wouldn't listen

My partner attended an appointment this morning for a routine injection. Upon arrival, the receptionist's manner came across as unwelcoming and unhelpful. When my partner attempted to explain his situation regarding his registered location and where his appointment was scheduled, he felt interrupted before he could fully explain. I work in a healthcare setting myself where we emphasise the importance of respectful interactions, and I felt this principle should apply equally to how patients are treated by staff.

Reception and nurses were helpful, but dismissive doctor

Cannot fault the reception or the nursing staff from my own experience but some of the clinicians are absolutely shambolic in their approach to patients. During a recent appointment, I encountered a clinician who was not only critical of my personal choices but also very dismissive of my health concerns. The manner in which my worries were addressed fell well short of what I would expect, particularly given my circumstances at the time. This has not been an isolated incident with this particular clinician, as previous interactions have left me feeling unheard and invalidated. I will be requesting to see a different clinician for future appointments.

Reception staff were dismissive on the phone call

The receptionist's manner was quite unwelcoming during my phone call. When I rang to ask for assistance and information regarding my medical records, the conversation became confrontational. Rather than providing the support I needed, the staff member seemed to create additional obstacles, suggesting I should register with a different practice when my request was simply for the information I had asked about. Throughout the interaction, there was a noticeable tone of irritation directed towards me. The level of customer service fell short of expectations. While I recognise that reception staff handle demanding situations regularly, this does not justify approaching new patients with such a dismissive attitude from the outset.

I find myself feeling apprehensive whenever I need to make contact with the practice, as the person answering the phone often comes across as reluctant or disengaged based on their tone of voice. The staff members I have interacted with in person at reception have similarly not been particularly welcoming, and I have noticed that information is not proactively shared unless I take the initiative to follow up. Overall, my experience with the practice has been disappointing.
