On my first visit, I arrived fifteen minutes ahead of my scheduled time. I stood waiting in the queue for fifteen minutes, and during this time, the clinician I was meant to see made comments about my lateness, suggesting there was no purpose in my attendance, despite no staff member being available to process those of us in line. After this, I had to wait a further twenty minutes before being seen. The interaction felt unwelcoming and the manner was dismissive. When I returned for a subsequent appointment, I again arrived fifteen minutes early as instructed. Although my appointment was scheduled for mid-afternoon, I was not called through until nearly an hour later.

Reception staff showed impatience during appointment
Not satisfied with the care provided to my mother, who experienced recurring respiratory infections over an extended period that were subsequently found to be serious. A healthcare professional displayed impatience when my mother had difficulty completing a respiratory assessment, which felt insensitive and lacking in compassion. My mother was initially given a diagnosis related to chronic lung conditions, with only partial lung function noted, but a significant obstruction was not identified during initial assessments. She later received a more serious diagnosis. Another clinician made a comment attributing her condition to her smoking history in a manner that felt judgmental rather than supportive or professional. The overall approach fell short of what I would expect from quality care. I had to advocate strongly for my mother to receive imaging that should have been arranged earlier. I am disappointed, as this practice was once known for providing excellent, dedicated care, and I feel it has declined from those standards.

The experienced practitioners who previously worked at this surgery appear to have moved on to other opportunities. Those currently in place seem rushed during consultations, often not making adequate eye contact or taking sufficient time with patients. There have been repeated issues with prescription management that have been frustrating and difficult to resolve. Both I and my family members are actively seeking alternative healthcare provision. My recommendation to anyone considering registering with this practice would be to explore other options. Overall, the experience has been disappointing.

Reception lost prescription within minutes of arrival
This practice is deeply disappointing. Not only do I feel my family member's condition was not identified promptly, resulting in a serious health situation that has now progressed significantly, but there have also been concerning issues with their care management. An urgent prescription was requested this afternoon, and my family member was told it would be available for collection. However, the prescription went missing shortly after being sent, and when we followed up, the staff denied having received any communication about it and questioned whether my family member could collect it on behalf of their relative. There are additional frustrations beyond this incident. I am also troubled that a previous family member's condition was not properly identified during a surgery visit, with what I believe was a misdiagnosis, leading to their death just days after being admitted to hospital. This occurred only three days after they had attended this practice for an examination. I am extremely upset and frustrated with how this surgery has handled these situations, and I feel these matters warrant serious review.
