Reception team went above and beyond for me
The reception team, paramedic, nursing staff and assistants deserve the highest praise - they are wonderful, caring, compassionate individuals who consistently exceed expectations. Regrettably, the same level of service cannot be extended to some of the medical practitioners at this practice. In my view, the recent consolidation of the surgeries has not been beneficial.

An appointment was eventually offered for a week later through a telephone consultation, though I spent the entire day waiting for this call which ultimately did not take place.

It's unfortunate to see what this practice has become, as it was once a reliable facility. The recent merger appears to have had a negative impact, which is disappointing given the feedback from other patients. It seems inconvenient that certain screening services now require travelling elsewhere when they could potentially be offered locally. The situation has continued to decline over recent months. My experience has been frustrating enough to affect my stress levels during visits. When my family member recently needed to speak with a clinician about medication concerns raised by another healthcare provider, we were told no appointments were available, despite the waiting area appearing quiet. This lack of accessibility is concerning, and I intend to follow up on this matter to ensure the issue is properly addressed.

I have been attempting to switch to a different practice for approximately six to seven weeks. This morning, I received a text message from the surgery requesting that I complete a registration form that was supposedly sent to me by email. However, I had not actually received any email from them. Upon checking my inbox this morning, I discovered that the form had been filtered into my spam folder, though they did eventually resend it. At this point, I have largely lost confidence in receiving satisfactory care from this practice.

Unheard from after practice merger
I have serious concerns about the decision to merge practices. The service has been disappointing overall. I have not received any contact from a clinician regarding my child's skin condition. I am frustrated about why an appointment cannot be arranged and the reliance on callback systems. I do not find the explanations provided satisfactory. I am considering registering myself and my child at a different practice. More recently, following a medical procedure, I have been unable to obtain a sick note despite needing one. I find it frustrating that there appears to be reluctance to provide this documentation, with responsibility being directed between the practice and the hospital rather than being resolved. I have experienced complications and feel I am not receiving the support I require. I am disappointed with this situation and believe it needs to be addressed urgently.

Thorough appointment with helpful medication advice
I attended the surgery for a consultation and received excellent care. The clinician was very thorough in their approach. They addressed the reason for my visit and took time to review my current medications, explaining potential side effects I hadn't been aware of and providing visual aids to help me understand what to monitor. I was particularly impressed by their comprehensive approach and attentiveness. They were also very good with my son during the visit. I'm very grateful for the level of care provided.

Familiar doctors have moved on unfortunately
This used to be a really good practice, but unfortunately that's no longer the case. The continuity of care has changed significantly, as the clinicians currently available don't seem as engaged as they once were. It's disappointing that many of the more experienced practitioners have moved on or retired, which has affected the overall quality of service. Additionally, when requesting a fit note for my husband with a chronic health condition, the note provided appeared generic and didn't reflect a thorough review of his medical history. It felt as though his individual circumstances weren't properly considered during the assessment.

Receptionist made booking straightforward and easy
The staff here are wonderful! The reception team are excellent - they're kind and understanding. The nurse who took my blood today had a lovely personality and was very reassuring, making the procedure completely painless. The doctors are very good - kind and professional.
