I consulted with Dr. Durani who recommended an x-ray and blood work. I completed the x-ray at Finchley Memorial Hospital today. He was extremely attentive and compassionate. In June 2025, I met with diabetic nurse Tito for a consultation, and she was exceptional and meticulous. My urine and blood test results were available by the following day. The service here is outstanding when required, particularly from Dr. Fernandes and Dr. Darren. Medical fitness certificates were also processed promptly and effectively.

I am preparing to escalate my concerns to NHS England and the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsperson. Without a doubt, this is an utterly incompetent medical practice. They are incredibly disorganized and consistently fail to follow through on their commitments, frequently missing scheduled callbacks. When patients attempt to clarify appointment details, they discover the practice has inaccurately logged consultation times. Attempting to receive medical attention from this practice is an exhausting and demoralizing experience that borders on the absurd. Their negligence poses a genuine threat to patient well-being and safety.

I must emphasize that in the past two years, the recently appointed leadership and personnel have entirely transformed the situation. I'm feeling genuinely awful about complaining regarding my medical procedure! I ought to understand better, given my 12-year background with the NHS, but everything has transformed dramatically. Receptionists now seem as unwelcoming as parking enforcement officers - you're already despised before uttering a single word! Picture going to work daily, knowing every public interaction involves people who resent your very presence. They believe you're responsible for their illness! Most individuals have no comprehension of the challenging tasks receptionists must navigate to assist patients, so I sincerely apologize for my earlier grumbling.

Absolutely dreadful and illogical procedures. There's no semblance of an organized intake process. Despite advertising the ability to schedule appointments two weeks in advance, they only provide a booking link that activates at 8am. If possible, I'd rate them lower than zero stars, and I'm regrettably trapped with their subpar service.

Rude receptionist ruins my healthcare experience
Every time I visit GP, the young receptionist (who appears to be of Indian descent) displays a consistently poor attitude. She comes across as extremely discourteous, never using polite language or showing any hint of friendliness. Her approach seems deliberately unhelpful, with her responses constantly being negative and dismissive. In stark contrast, the other reception staff are pleasant, and my doctor - who I also believe is Indian - is absolutely wonderful, being both kind and supportive.
