I've never experienced such exceptional care from someone who not only attentively listens but genuinely wants to help. Having lived in England for a decade, I switched medical practices in January, and I've finally discovered a UK GP who is both helpful and incredible. After 10 years of challenges, I'm truly grateful for the doctors and care I now receive at Woodlands Surgery.

I extend my gratitude to Dr Uppal for her exceptional care, expertise, and understanding after I was promptly scheduled following my conversation with 111 last evening. Dr Uppal demonstrated remarkable compassion, ensuring I was treated with the utmost respect, and her profound medical expertise was evident throughout our consultation. Although I have been a patient at this practice for two years and have rarely needed medical attention, I consistently encounter outstanding professionalism and support whenever I interact with the doctors or nursing staff.

Overbooked and overwhelmed medical practice nightmare

I understand the staff is trying hard, but scheduling an appointment is absolutely unmanageable. It's truly frustrating - even when you call right as the phone lines open, you're already facing a 10-person waiting list, and naturally, no slots remain available. If you genuinely require medical attention, you're honestly better off heading to the emergency room. On the rare occasion you miraculously secure an appointment, the experience and personnel are pleasant. It's utterly disgraceful how overwhelmed they are, which essentially negates any potential benefits of their service.

Terrible customer experience at this facility. The front desk staff provided inaccurate details and inappropriately shared medical advice despite lacking professional credentials. Their attitude was incredibly disrespectful. I strongly advise against choosing Woodlands for any services.

Edit: A phone service disruption occurred, and I was personally reached out to with an explanation, which prompts me to adjust my rating since the staff demonstrated commendable communication, though I still believe their system requires modernization 😔, appreciative of their response 🙏 How dramatically things have transformed, I previously held Woodlands Surgery in high regard, but now they've become overwhelmed to the point where obtaining assistance feels impossible. This morning, I initiated a call at 8am, and after finally connecting at 0801 and being told I was first in the queue, they abruptly terminated the call. Upon redialing, I was suddenly positioned 18th in line, only to be disconnected again, and when I attempted once more, I found myself 30th in the queue!!! It's ironic how we're compelled to navigate this antiquated, randomized system just to secure basic support!!!

The staff at this medical practice are incredibly unhelpful. The receptionists seem deliberately obstructive when patients need appointments, making it difficult to see a doctor despite being seriously ill. They constantly deflect by telling patients to call back later or claim no appointments are available, leaving people frustrated and uncertain about their healthcare options. I'm genuinely puzzled about the purpose of these receptionists - they appear more interested in creating barriers than providing assistance. Their attitude is completely counterproductive and adds unnecessary stress to people who are already unwell and seeking medical care.

I've been a patient at this practice since 2021. While the staff members I've encountered have been friendly and supportive, I've yet to actually meet my designated general practitioner. Even though I'm now taking the initiative to source my medication and completing all requested tasks to ensure its availability, there continues to be a persistent communication issue preventing timely resolution before my current prescription expires.

Securing a phone consultation is consistently easy, and in nearly all cases, the physician is exceptional, attentive, and willing to provide in-person care. Terrible service and unprofessional staff nightmare

Updated on 05.12.23. For more than three weeks, zero communication from the practice manager, as if the issue vanished into thin air. Only baseless accusations, absolutely no clarification. 13.09.23 I was on the verge of writing a positive review because the surgery actually helped me once, but that's impossible now. The receptionist I initially spoke with was completely clueless about her responsibilities and procedures. During my subsequent call, another receptionist assisted me with my PRESCRIPTIONS. And that's where any positive aspects ended 🥺. Today, I received a letter from the practice manager claiming I threatened a staff member. I immediately requested a copy of the recordings, as this accusation seems utterly ridiculous. I mentioned I would document my experience on Google reviews, and that remains my intention ☝️🤣 Stay tuned for updates......... 😁

I discovered I was inexplicably removed from their patient registry due to a temporary address change, with zero communication about this status, even when attempting to refill my prescription. This left me without medical support when I fell ill. The reception staff clearly lack basic professional training regarding patient care responsibilities. Moreover, they shockingly shared my confidential details with random prescription team members who proceeded to contact me with an incredibly aggressive and intrusive approach, flatly refusing my request to speak with the practice manager.
