Helpful Staff, Attentive Care: A Medical Recommendation
I highly suggest this healthcare facility to anyone seeking assistance. The entire team, including the receptionists, physicians, and nursing staff, is incredibly supportive. I consistently feel heard and appreciate the guidance and care given to me during my visits.

Negligent Doctor Endangers Patient Through Medication Withdrawal
Dr. Wever exhibits troubling negligence in his practice, leading to my severe health decline and loss of mobility due to illness. This situation can be substantiated in court and with the DWP, as he has unjustly taken away necessary medication. He appears to exploit mental health challenges if a patient is on sick leave, presenting himself as a deeply unsettling figure—akin to a so-called "doctor of death." It seems he may struggle with issues related to power control, which suggests psychopathic tendencies. The management also displays disturbing behavior; rather than ensuring care, they jeopardize lives by adopting more of an oppressive stance than one focused on support. I do not anticipate any apologies from you and will be filing complaints with the commission while pursuing other avenues for recourse as well.

Racist Practice Leaves Patients Neglected and Suffering
My experiences with this surgery have been deeply disappointing and frustrating. Each time I visited, it felt like a negative ordeal. There were occasions when I couldn't secure an appointment, but even when luck was on my side and I managed to get one, the doctor consistently failed to provide a prescription. This led to my son being hospitalized for three days. When my husband approached the clinic about our situation, they simply replied, "OK, well your son is good now; we will see next time if we have any openings." Such dismissive behavior is unacceptable. Following the birth of my child, I sought help for severe back pain at this clinic. The doctor advised me to engage in exercises which would supposedly alleviate my discomfort; however, two years later and I'm still suffering from persistent pain. Thus far, I've decided against returning to this office again. For anyone considering their options based on my review: it’s much wiser to opt for walk-in clinics instead where you are more likely to receive prescriptions without issues rather than registering at this practice.

"Poor Service and Discrimination Concerns"
The management was extremely poor, and the staff's rudeness was evident. I arrived just a minute late, but everyone seemed preoccupied on calls. After waiting for about 45 minutes, when I finally approached the counter, they informed me that I could not be accommodated. The manager, Kerry Beaumont, appeared very unapproachable and failed to grasp my concerns. This experience has left me feeling as if my treatment is linked to my race. If something unfortunate were to happen to me as a result of this situation, who would be accountable? When I requested an explanation from her regarding why I hadn’t been seen yet, she refused and walked away abruptly. This really reflects the quality of service provided here.

Broken healthcare system fails patient in desperate need
Endured a month-long wait for a desperately needed medical consultation while battling relentless pain, only to have the appointment abruptly cancelled without warning. It's utterly devastating and highlights why mental health struggles are escalating—I'm feeling completely hopeless right now. These healthcare professionals seem to have forgotten the fundamental principle of compassionate care. To add insult to injury, I was then forced to sit on hold with their reception for an excruciating hour and a half.

Dismissive doctor fails to address child's painful eczema
I am updating my review due to my deep dissatisfaction with the physician's demeanor and approach towards us. My son suffers from severe eczema that previously led to bleeding caused by infection, yet the doctor seemed to imply we were inconveniencing her and suggested we seek private medical assistance. What is the purpose of paying taxes if we cannot receive fundamental, timely healthcare? We feel we were treated poorly and disrespectfully. If I had more available time, I would absolutely pursue a formal complaint and potentially legal action, as children experiencing severe eczema should never be dismissed or marginalized based on arbitrary or ideological grounds.

Dangerous medical care leaves patient frustrated and neglected
This medical facility demonstrates extreme negligence and could arguably be the most substandard healthcare provider in the United Kingdom. My uncle, who suffers from cardiac conditions, has been persistently requesting a renewed medication prescription, yet the practice continues to postpone his urgent medical needs. Moreover, the personnel exhibit a shockingly unprofessional and discourteous demeanor.

Compassionate doctor transforms elderly patient's medical journey
Dr. Warner demonstrated outstanding medical attention for my aging parent during today's consultation. His compassionate demeanor and precise explanations instilled a sense of trust and reassurance regarding the treatment plan for my father. He meticulously walked me through each aspect of the proposed care, ensuring I was fully informed and engaged throughout the entire process. Thanks to his professional guidance, my father's health trajectory looks promising. I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Warner's medical skill and empathetic approach, and we are deeply grateful for his exceptional treatment.

Frustrating phone system leads to app-based healthcare
The phone queue to schedule a consultation has become so unbearable that I've resorted to using the NHS app for health consultations and booking requests. Ironically, the surgery then sends me a text message instructing me to call them directly to arrange an appointment! It's a completely absurd and circular situation that defies logic.

Endless wait leads to frustrating customer service nightmare
Unbelievably poor customer service experience. I was supposedly first in the queue during a lengthy phone wait exceeding an hour, yet when the receptionist finally picked up, she claimed the lines were overwhelmed. This contradicts my supposed priority status. After enduring such a prolonged wait, the actual conversation lasted mere minutes, and I was then abruptly dismissed. The entire interaction was completely unacceptable and frustrating.

Endless Phone Queue: 85 Minutes of Frustration
I remained on hold for a total of 85 minutes, during which I spent 45 minutes as the first person in the queue. Although I wasn't nearby at that moment, I could have returned and attended the surgery in person by the time my call was finally answered!

Woodlane clinic delivers exceptional patient care and support
I'm thoroughly satisfied with this medical facility. Previously, at the other large healthcare center with an on-site pharmacy, I consistently experienced frustrating challenges: missed appointments, constantly changing doctors, and subpar customer service with discourteous reception staff. In contrast, the team at Woodlane is exceptional. Their reception personnel are incredibly supportive and courteous, significantly surpassing typical service standards. They transform the potentially overwhelming process of addressing medical concerns into a much more manageable and comfortable experience.

Efficient Staff, Challenging Appointment Booking Process
At times, it can be challenging to reach the reception for scheduling an appointment; however, the doctors, nurses, and administrative personnel are all kind and supportive. The primary concern lies in securing an appointment more quickly. Fortunately, they also offer after-hours GP appointments at different locations, which has proven to be extremely beneficial.

Compassionate care at wood lane surgery
We've been longtime patients at Wood Lane surgery and consistently experience exceptional care from the entire team. The reception staff, nurses, and doctors have always demonstrated outstanding professionalism, kindness, and support. Throughout our years here, we've interacted with multiple GPs, including the recent addition of Dr Warner, and they all excel in managing patient care during challenging healthcare periods. Dr Dan, in particular, has been incredibly supportive of my husband following his stroke. If the rating system allowed, I would absolutely award 10 stars to recognize their remarkable service.

Rude doctor dismisses patient's genuine medical concerns
The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. However, Dr. Ashok Deshpande's demeanor was completely unacceptable. I explained my lip incompetence and requested a referral, but he flatly refused, claiming I didn't require one. My condition specifically falls under the expertise of maxillofacial surgeons. He persistently argued against my need for a referral. When I asked about alternative options, he dismissively stated that "no one would be able to help me," despite maxillofacial specialists dealing directly with facial issues. I continued to press for a referral, and he eventually relented. He is hands-down the most unprofessional and discourteous medical professional I have ever encountered.

Endless Wait: Surgery Phone System Fails Patients
Thank you for your response. However, knowing that you're experiencing problems with your phone system does not instill much confidence in me as I find myself on hold once again with the surgery. Currently, I've been at the forefront of the queue for 35 minutes without any progress. The only solution I see is to visit the surgery in person to schedule an appointment since I am unable to connect via phone. If it were possible to rate this experience zero stars, I certainly would. I followed online guidance and arranged an e-consultation aimed at alleviating pressure on staff and making efficient use of their time. However, upon calling as instructed for a physiotherapy appointment at 12:10, I was placed third in line. By approximately 12:40, my position improved to first place and remained unchanged until 13:30 when it dawned on me that the surgery had closed its doors at 13:00 while leaving me waiting indefinitely on hold during what appeared to be their lunch break or some other activity. How is it acceptable for someone to be left hanging like this while you close up shop? I've squandered an hour and twenty minutes of my life only now needing to repeat this frustrating process by calling back after two o'clock. This is my initial attempt at booking an appointment here, yet I'm already apprehensive about receiving shockingly poor service just as has become commonplace across many surgeries today—seemingly regarded as a new norm throughout the UK healthcare system. The existing arrangement we are stuck with is utterly inadequate and fails tremendously in serving its intended purpose!

Loyal Patient Praises 60 Years of Care
Absolutely, I would endorse this practice. From the very beginning, I have been a client here, and prior to that, I was with Dr. Kershaw’s practice. Throughout the span of over sixty years, I've encountered only a handful of significant concerns that were not resolved in an acceptable manner. While no organization or service can claim perfection, they consistently strive to provide support whenever possible. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the team members and wish everyone a prosperous and joyful new year ahead. Best regards, Bob Moldon.

Unreachable Surgery Ignores Desperate Parent's Calls
I find it incredibly frustrating trying to get through to the surgery; I often resort to booking eConsults just to connect with a physician. However, they frequently advise me that I need to schedule in-person visits, yet I am still unable to secure an appointment. It’s absurd! I was actually first in line on the phone waiting for someone to answer when I decided to go directly into the surgery. To my dismay, the receptionists were completely ignoring incoming calls while I stood there on hold. My child requires an examination of her ear as suggested by the doctor during our eConsult, but it's impossible because no one answers. I've spent three hours waiting on hold over two days now without any progress.
