I would caution potential patients to carefully consider whether this practice meets their needs, as I found my experience frustrating and unsatisfactory. The reception and administrative management fell short of expectations, and I felt the service was poorly organised. I had an appointment scheduled for the afternoon. After checking in, I experienced a lengthy wait. When I eventually spoke with staff, there were inconsistencies in the explanations provided for the delay, which was confusing and disappointing. The practice management did not engage with me directly to address my concerns, and their demeanour suggested they found the situation burdensome. As someone with additional accessibility needs, I felt this approach was inappropriate. When I expressed my frustration about receiving conflicting information and the extended wait time, I was told I had been shouting, though I felt my reaction was a reasonable response to the situation. Most significantly, the issue I came to address remains unresolved. I should note that the clinical staff themselves were professional and competent. However, my concern is with how the practice operates administratively. The appointment system appears inflexible, with limited availability when needed and difficulty accessing continuity of care with a preferred clinician. Based on my experience, I would hesitate to recommend this practice to others seeking reliable and responsive healthcare services.

I have an ongoing health condition that required additional medication. I was contacted by the on-call clinician instead of attending an in-person appointment, and I was very pleased with this approach.

Bloods never done despite multiple September visits

The service has deteriorated significantly this year, despite being excellent when we first registered. I requested a referral in August and was advised to have blood work done first, so I scheduled an appointment for early September. I attended three blood tests that month and followed up on the referral status in late October, only to discover that the required tests had not been completed—only blood work for a separate issue had been carried out. There have been consistent delays in obtaining appointments for consultations regarding respiratory concerns and low oxygen levels. This week I was given a review date for my consultation that is six days away, which feels like an unreasonably long wait given my symptoms. The approach seems to be one of waiting to see if the condition resolves on its own rather than providing timely intervention. Additionally, I have previously raised concerns about a comment made by a staff member regarding my teenage daughter's weight during one of my own appointments. This was particularly inappropriate given that my daughter was experiencing significant mental health difficulties at that time and had not previously been seen by this staff member.
