Had a health check appointment where blood was taken. The clinician who performed this was exceptionally skilled at the procedure and demonstrated a warm, professional manner throughout.

Parking makes appointments difficult to reach

The parking situation at this surgery is quite problematic for patients attempting to access the facility, and the 72-hour parking restriction seems unnecessarily restrictive. There is an alternative car park located nearby that could potentially be repurposed as short-stay parking for patients, with appropriate arrangements made for staff parking elsewhere, which would help ensure patients can park conveniently and attend their appointments without delay. The clinical care provided is excellent, and a higher rating would have been given if the parking arrangements were more suitable for patient needs.

Efficient booking system and attentive staff

Excellent medical practice, exceptionally well-managed with a dedicated team. No issues to report despite complaints heard elsewhere. This surgery should serve as a model example of how to operate a healthcare practice effectively.

Quick appointments and friendly staff throughout

Despite what we hear, generally everyone here, reception, dispensary, nursing staff and clinical staff are really good. They seldom keep you waiting more than 5 or 10 minutes. On my last visit, I phoned at the start of the morning and was seen within less than an hour! My only observation is that between my initial call and my appointment time, my situation had changed and required additional attention. Well done and thank you to all at this practice.

Caring practice despite long appointment waits

Excellent experience overall. Unfortunately relocated to a different area to access sheltered housing. The new location has extended waiting times for various services including appointments. The previous practice provided outstanding care during a difficult period of illness, with staff demonstrating genuine compassion and dedication throughout.

Since relocating to the area in 2017, my spouse and I have been patients at this practice and have consistently found the staff to be both welcoming and professional in their approach. Recently, a significant health concern was identified and prompt referrals resulted in swift resolution within several days following a diagnostic scan that confirmed what had been suspected during the initial consultation. Following this, I have engaged with the community nursing team and experienced the same high standard of care and support. We feel fortunate to have access to their services.
