Long phone wait, no appointments available

I waited a considerable time on the phone only to be informed that no appointments were available. I was under the impression that there was an armed forces covenant within the NHS. I intend to raise my concerns about this practice with the appropriate authorities.

Reception staff made me feel unwelcome and rushed

Poor experience at this practice/ Relieved to have moved on. I felt dismissed when staff suggested I shouldn't bring my concerns to them, and when requesting a test, I was made to feel like an inconvenience rather than welcomed. Being asked to wait while administrative tasks were completed felt unnecessary and added to my distress when I was already unwell. The experience felt humiliating during a vulnerable time. While there are some genuinely caring members of the team, their professionalism couldn't offset the negative interactions with others who seemed unsuited to patient-facing roles.

Staff on phones were dismissive and unhelpful

The telephone and reception staff were unhelpful and discourteous. A form I submitted several months ago remains incomplete, and I have been asked to return repeatedly to check on its progress. Each visit results in further delays and requests to come back again. The overall experience has been frustrating and the service received was not satisfactory.

The reception team's phone manner could be improved, as there seems to be a dismissive tone that other patients have also mentioned. It would be helpful if they showed more genuine care when booking appointments. I called early in the morning and was unable to secure an appointment despite the early timing.

Phone staff dismissive when requesting urgent help

Terrible experience at this practice. The reception team came across as dismissive, unhelpful and discourteous when I called. They didn't seem willing to listen to my concerns or offer suitable guidance. I was unable to secure an urgent appointment despite being in significant pain. There appear to be ongoing problems between the practice and the pharmacy, which unfortunately affects patient care. While the clinical staff were approachable and attentive, the administrative barriers and difficulty accessing the support needed have left me very disappointed with the practice overall.
