Revising my review once more. I want to express my gratitude to Lensfield for their attentive, compassionate and expert approach to managing my vertigo and Covid! I'm updating this review because nothing surpasses quality, dependable, empathetic and meticulous medical care. Of late, Lensfield's mental health support team has been in contact with me. I must say they are absolutely wonderful. Alexandra Davies from their mental health division has been consistently emailing, phoning and checking in on me. During moments when I've felt low and discouraged, she has offered guidance, shared helpful resources, maintained regular contact and listened to me. She demonstrates genuine concern for my wellbeing. She's even encouraged me to pursue my driving license and stayed on the call helping me complete the application. This is an exceptional service during these challenging lockdown periods. I'm deeply grateful to Alex and Lensfield for their support through this time. Lensfield operates as a hygienic, efficient practice. I had a wonderful experience with my previous GP but she has since relocated. She was outstanding. She supported me through severe depression, seizures, various infections and skin conditions. It's fortunate to have access to such a capable GP. The clinic still has GPs who demonstrate exceptional diligence and genuine helpfulness. They connect patients with beneficial programs and allocate sufficient time. It can feel uncomfortable when doctors seem irritated or dismissive about patient concerns. I noticed another review mentioning 'dismissive behaviour' - and yes, certain doctors can come across as rather off-putting at times. One doctor was particularly rude, patronising and upset my young son. He also declined to take his measurements and the scale was readily available. He insisted I schedule a separate visit for that! This same doctor has consistently been difficult to interact with. So your experience varies depending on your assigned doctor. I simply see the two doctors I find less approachable. Dr Ford, Dr Briggs and Dr Swift are exceptionally compassionate and skilled practitioners. Their assessments are comprehensive and detailed, and they all maintain ongoing attention to my care. They've arranged for nurses to administer my flu vaccination and conduct blood work, as I'm immunocompromised from cancer. I've received helpful resources from my doctor including relaxation techniques, exercises for spinal and bone health, and mental health resources. These have been tremendously beneficial! My 74-year-old mother, who has heart disease, is equally satisfied with her care and medical assessment. Following her angiography and stent placement, the clinic handled her case exceptionally well. The front desk staff are wonderful and consistently courteous. The facility is also immaculately maintained. I had a cervical screening with Nurse Raheal and it was excellent. She was incredibly considerate and explained each step. Having gentle, understanding professionals perform these procedures is crucial. My asthma nurse was also superb previously, though appointments have been harder to secure this year. My visits aren't scheduled too late and the ambient classical music creates a soothing atmosphere. They've also made thoughtful additions with children's magazines and books in the waiting area. I genuinely miss Dr Tucan who is no longer with the practice. She was an exceptional GP who truly followed up with her patients and displayed remarkable empathy. I'm updating this following a consultation with my doctor at Lensfield. Thanks to Lensfield, my breast cancer was identified at stage one. Following my diagnosis, Dr Ford thoroughly and clearly discussed my treatment options. During difficult times, this calibre of care is essential. I'm adding another update to acknowledge Lensfield's excellent post-cancer support. Consistent follow-ups, quality assessments and assistance managing post-cancer complications, including diabetes, skin conditions and joint pain, with treatments that have proven effective. Dr Swift, Dr Ford, the nursing staff and reception have all been supportive. The doctors, mental health professionals, nurses and receptionist I've mentioned all demonstrated outstanding, professional and considerate service. I've been a patient at Lensfield for three years and remain satisfied with their care even after relocating.
