Our family has been receiving care at Abbey Road Medical Centre for nearly three and a half decades. While some general practitioners have rotated through the practice, most have remained for extended periods, creating exceptional continuity of care. When we first arrived in the area with two young children, we eventually expanded to four, with our youngest now an adult facing significant health challenges and disabilities. We've consistently found the entire staff - from receptionists to nurses to doctors - to be excellent, with some truly outstanding. Despite their incredibly busy schedule, no request has ever seemed too burdensome or insignificant, even if it meant waiting for a prescription, callback, or appointment. The ability to communicate via phone, email, or the new e-consult service has been tremendously beneficial, particularly in managing my son's complex medical needs without frequent in-person visits. There's a genuine sense of teamwork and compassion, with staff consistently going above and beyond to provide support. A mutual trust exists where the staff understand my requests are genuine, and I completely trust their professional judgment. I felt especially grateful two weeks ago when we secured cancelled appointments for my son's Covid-19 vaccination, followed by my husband's and my own, administered by Drs Siddiqi and Sohrabe. The moment Dr Siddiqi personally came to inform me of a vaccination slot, I was so overwhelmed with relief that I cried. I cannot praise Abbey Medical Centre enough and feel incredibly fortunate to be their patient!
