The staff here demonstrate exceptional professionalism given their limited resources. Typically, a single receptionist manages a high volume of patients across different age groups, many of whom can be unclear or slow. These receptionists display remarkable patience, even when patients are mistaken or disruptive - arriving early or providing incorrect information. Unlike my previous encounters with unhelpful reception staff, this surgery's team is consistently polite and pleasant. Although medical appointments usually cause me significant anxiety, this GP practice makes the entire process much more comfortable. The doctors and nurses are consistently proactive in addressing patient concerns and finding practical solutions. The pharmacists are equally compassionate and supportive. We often criticize service delays without considering the immense workload these healthcare professionals manage within a challenging system. While this reflects my personal experience at Fir Park, I wanted to highlight that positive patient experiences do exist. This morning perfectly illustrates their efficiency - within just two hours, I successfully booked an appointment, received medical consultation, collected a new prescription, and scheduled a blood test. A long-standing health issue was finally addressed comprehensively and swiftly. My sincere appreciation to the entire team!
