Appointment booking nightmare with a glimmer of hope

I'm awarding two stars solely due to the appointment booking nightmare! Precisely at 1000hrs, I was ready online. By 1001hrs, only one slot remained. I selected it, filled out my reasons, and upon pressing next - poof! The appointment vanished! Unbelievable! The previous day, I'd spoken with a receptionist about my ongoing struggle to secure an appointment. She advised me to try at 10am, which I did exactly. This isn't a new experience for me - the appointment system is ridiculously inefficient. I find the lack of empathy from staff frustrating. When someone seeks a medical appointment, it's typically because they're unwell! The entire booking process is incredibly stressful and poorly designed. Despite these significant challenges, I remain with this practice because the doctors themselves are excellent. Once I actually get to see a physician, the care is top-notch. That's why I'm grudgingly giving two stars - one for each commendable doctor who makes this bureaucratic ordeal somewhat bearable. The booking system desperately needs an overhaul!
