Booking appointments became a real headache

Over my quarter-century with this medical practice, the quality of service has noticeably deteriorated. Although the staff remain courteous and accommodating, scheduling an appointment has become increasingly challenging. As someone frequently traveling for work, I simply need the ability to call and book a consultation, which is a fundamental requirement under their GP contract. However, they seem almost obstinately opposed to this, instead pushing patients towards their online booking system and creating an unfair disadvantage for those less comfortable with digital platforms. I've even experienced being physically turned away at the reception and instructed to return home to book online. It's crucial to recognize that not every patient desires or can easily navigate online systems.
