Booking appointments impossible despite helpful doctors

After multiple attempts over three consecutive mornings using NHS app online forms, I couldn't secure an appointment. I tried patient access app as well, both for a routine matter where I wasn't in any rush. However, I can only imagine how incredibly challenging this must be for someone with a sick child. I spent three days attempting to reach the receptionist, consistently being told no spaces were available in the queue. Eventually, I managed to get on a callback list. This experience reinforces that larger practices don't always mean better service. While I'm comfortable with technology, I'm deeply concerned about how elderly or less tech-savvy patients would navigate such a complex booking system. On the fourth day, I'll note that the receptionist was very pleasant when I finally connected.
