Booking nightmare with e-consult form

Getting a GP appointment has become a bureaucratic nightmare through their online E-Consult system. I filled out the digital form and received a text for a next-day slot, but it was completely inconvenient due to my being far from Berkshire. When I attempted to reschedule via both online and telephone channels, I was informed that changing the appointment would require re-submitting the entire E-Consult form, with no guarantee of an immediate new slot. The receptionist could only offer me a distant appointment at a surgery outside Lower Earley, scheduled 3.5 weeks later. This process has left me feeling utterly stuck, wasting significant time and creating unnecessary stress for both myself and the reception staff.
