Booking System Failures Endanger Thyroid Patient Care

My experience was utterly unacceptable. I arose early at 7:30 to arrange for a blood test and navigated the proper steps in the Evergreen application (GP → Request Assistance from GP → New Request → Nurse/Blood Test Appointment). However, I was incorrectly informed that I had submitted an “Admin Query,” which is entirely untrue. This careless blunder not only wasted my time but also postponed a crucial test for my thyroid issue, leading to unnecessary anxiety. This isn't the first instance where I've encountered confusion and mistakes from this practice. The ongoing errors, coupled with a lack of attention to detail and ineffective communication, indicate a significant disregard for patient welfare. If staff members struggle to accurately handle straightforward requests, how can patients trust that they are receiving quality care? There is an urgent need for enhancements in both the booking system and staff proficiency.
