Booking system makes waiting months feel impossible

The clinical staff are excellent and provide good care. However, the appointment scheduling system presents significant challenges. Waiting periods of around ten weeks for routine appointments are problematic. The process for requesting expedited appointments appears ineffective, with requests being returned to standard queues multiple times despite symptom changes. Reception staff have limited ability to assist with appointment issues, and the online form submission appears to be the only available booking method. Expecting patients to wait extended periods without support during this time is concerning. Previous feedback suggests the practice recommends visiting reception for assistance, though this resulted in being asked to complete additional forms. There also appears to be a considerable delay before appointment requests receive clinical review.
