Broken Appointment System Torments Tinnitus Patient

It is essential to evaluate how calls and appointments are managed. When attempting to schedule an appointment during the day, you end up on hold, only to be subjected to the sound of a ringing phone instead of soothing hold music. This is perplexing; hearing a ringing phone while waiting seems entirely inappropriate. After enduring this for some time, you finally reach someone who informs you that all available slots for appointments today have been filled. One might expect that rescheduling for the following day would be straightforward; however, they instruct you to call back at 8 AM tomorrow instead. From past experiences, it’s clear that calling at that hour feels akin to trying your luck in a contest on a radio show rather than simply booking an appointment. In this digital era, it appears unreasonable not to have a more efficient system in place—relying solely on same-day bookings feels like participating in some sort of lottery game with no guarantee of success when trying just to secure basic medical care. I am reaching out due to issues related specifically to tinnitus affecting my ear, and yet I'm met with nothing but the sound of ringing phones… That’s enough venting for now.
