Calls unanswered at 8am surgery

Extremely Inadequate Service and Persistent Problems at St Paul's Way Surgery I am compelled to share my profound frustration and dismay regarding the abysmal standard of service I have encountered at St Paul's Way Surgery—undoubtedly the most dismal NHS experience of my life. The surgery's management appears fundamentally flawed. For an extended period, I have struggled to obtain basic care and communication, with the existing system being utterly non-functional. Telephone attempts are consistently futile, regardless of the hour or frequency of calling. I contacted the surgery at 8am requesting a callback; no response materialized. Upon follow-up the next day, the situation remained unchanged. A subsequent in-person visit yielded promises of a doctor's callback, which predictably never occurred. Multiple eConsults and emails were submitted, yet no acknowledgment—not even a basic confirmation text or guidance—was received. This unacceptable situation has now persisted for over three weeks, with zero resolution, updates, or medical attention. The staff demonstrate a remarkable lack of respect, seemingly devoid of empathy or compassion for patients seeking assistance. Patients appear expected to grovel for appointments. The profound absence of professionalism, transparency, and communication is not merely disappointing—it is completely unacceptable. As a patient, pursuing basic medical support should not require constant pursuit or desperate pleading. This scenario is not only frustrating but emotionally distressing, particularly for individuals managing ongoing health challenges. I strongly urge management to critically examine this complaint and address the systemic failures clearly impacting numerous patients. People unquestionably deserve substantially better treatment.
