Can't book or reach my gp

I've been attempting to contact this GP practice for two days, and the ordeal has been incredibly exasperating. The e-consult system, which is meant to streamline communication, failed miserably—it claimed it couldn't comprehend my issue and prevented me from scheduling an online appointment. How is that even remotely helpful? Reluctantly, I resorted to telephoning the practice. Following their recommendation to call at precisely 8:00 AM, I spent half an hour frantically redialing without success. I have professional responsibilities—and I pay taxes that support this supposedly "free" healthcare system (cue eye roll)—yet I cannot dedicate my entire morning to persistent telephone attempts. When I finally connected at 11:00 AM, I was informed that all same-day appointments had been claimed. Adding insult to injury, they suggested someone else could attempt calling on my behalf in the morning. Are you kidding me? Exactly when is this magical call supposed to miraculously succeed? I had already exhausted myself with repeated attempts from 8:00 AM for thirty minutes! The entire system is fundamentally dysfunctional. How on earth are patients supposed to access necessary medical care under such ridiculous circumstances? It's absolutely infuriating and completely unacceptable.
