I found the experience with this medical practice deeply concerning, particularly regarding the car parking arrangements. The parking system appeared to cause significant distress to vulnerable patients, including elderly individuals, without clear accountability. The parking company did not provide adequate proof when vehicle registration details were entered into the system. The practice should take responsibility for the stress and upset this has caused their patients. I successfully challenged a parking ticket issued to an elderly person I know, as did several others. I received a parking ticket myself and am willing to pursue this matter further if necessary. When I raised concerns about this issue, I felt I was not treated fairly, and I understand many other patients share similar experiences. What troubles me most is that the medical professionals at this practice appear aware of the situation yet have not taken meaningful steps to support their patients. The parking system requires vehicle registration to be entered into a device on the wall, but this does not generate a ticket or provide evidence of payment or entry. A legal professional specialising in parking disputes contacted the practice offering free assistance after seeing a social media post about the issue, with comments disabled. When I spoke with a member of staff about this offer of help, they were unwilling to engage. Despite my attempts to communicate via phone and email, suggesting that those who signed the parking contract should be held accountable, there has been no constructive response. The practice leadership did not reply to the legal professional's offer of assistance, which I find disappointing given their stated commitment to patient care. Patients dealing with health concerns should not face this additional burden. I am saddened by these recent experiences and also frustrated by other aspects of my care, including lengthy waits for referrals and diagnoses.
