The medical staff and nursing team are exceptional, but the reception area is a different story. There needs to be serious discussion about patient interaction and basic courtesy. The receptionists should learn to communicate respectfully and not assume patients are unintelligent or dishonest. Many patients have professional careers and deserve to be treated with dignity. The constant claims of being overwhelmed seem questionable at best. If these staff members are dissatisfied or unable to perform their duties effectively, they should consider stepping aside for more enthusiastic and capable individuals. North Street Medical Center urgently needs to address and improve their front desk customer service.
