A special shoutout to Mrs Emmison, who helped me through a challenging moment after receiving some test results that left me feeling overwhelmed with worry. She expertly managed to soothe my anxiety and provide reassurance that the results were completely normal, explaining that the prescribed medication is aimed at safeguarding my future health. Throughout the years, I've grappled with Mental Health and Health Anxiety, and I've consistently received exceptional care from all healthcare professionals at Birchwood Medical Centre. Even the reception staff demonstrate remarkable empathy and consistently strive to offer support and assistance. While many individuals become frustrated with the limited appointment availability, I make a conscious effort to maintain perspective and understand that the reception staff, doctors, and nurses cannot control the volume of patients requiring services at any given time. They genuinely attempt to prioritize patients based on their specific care needs. One small suggestion: it would be beneficial to place a hand sanitiser next to the appointment touchscreen (though this may have already been addressed since my last visit).
