I typically steer clear of visiting my local medical practice, preferring to research my symptoms online initially. Prior to the pandemic, the reception staff seemed inexperienced, appearing freshly graduated and lacking the skills to interact professionally with patients or manage telephone communications. Since Covid, there's been a modest improvement with digital services and some receptionists displaying a more courteous demeanor. During a recent consultation, the appointment was utterly unsatisfactory. The physician failed to conduct a physical examination or adequately address my health concerns, leaving me feeling dismissed and compelled to schedule another consultation. In stark contrast, my recent appointment with Dr Jatinder Singh was exceptional. He listened intently to my description of symptoms, performed a comprehensive examination, adjusted my medication, and maintained excellent communication throughout our interaction. I departed feeling genuinely supported and confident that my health was being taken seriously. I want to express my sincere appreciation to Dr Singh for his outstanding professionalism and compassionate approach, and I sincerely hope this level of patient-focused care can be promoted throughout the entire medical practice.
