Constant diarrhoea and no real answers

This medical practice is in complete disarray. Five months ago, I sought help for persistent diarrhoea, hoping to understand the underlying cause. I completed a stool sample and felt optimistic about potential progress. Unexpectedly, reception staff called to say the sample was mislabelled and needed repeating - which I accepted, understanding mistakes occur. When I visited the surgery to discuss this, a senior receptionist contradicted the initial claim, stating the sample hadn't even been processed yet. While I don't blame the reception staff, the communication was frustratingly inconsistent. I was forced to chase my own results, repeatedly initiating contact. When I requested food allergen or thyroid tests, considering my family history, I was dismissed. In August, I experienced a terrifying incident of passing only bright red blood, leading to a hospital referral where initial examinations revealed nothing. Given my mother's previous bowel cancer scare and polyp history, and being a 26-year-old woman, I'm deeply concerned about potential undiagnosed issues. My requests for further investigation were rejected, with staff citing a May blood test as comprehensive. Their apparent lack of genuine concern is devastating. It feels like they're deliberately avoiding thorough examination or referral to a specialist, leaving me feeling completely abandoned and anxious about my alarming symptoms. I'm seriously considering changing healthcare providers to somewhere that might actually demonstrate care and commitment to my health.
