Couldn't book an appointment when needed most

Struggling to secure an appointment with a healthcare provider, which seems to defeat the fundamental purpose of attending a general practice surgery. The only suggestion offered was to attend the emergency department. It's hardly surprising that emergency departments face such lengthy waiting times when patients are being directed there for non-emergency concerns. The staff members themselves appear conscientious, but the management responsible for appointment scheduling and resource allocation may need to reconsider their approach. On multiple visits to inquire about availability, the waiting areas have appeared notably quiet, suggesting potential understaffing. This represents a disappointing situation overall. It's unfortunate to express these concerns, as a clinician encountered many years ago provided excellent care.
