Couldn't see a doctor about my eye infection

I'm unable to access an appointment with a clinician regardless of the circumstances. When I had an eye concern, I was provided with medication without a face-to-face consultation. The receptionist suggested the issue was seasonal allergies, but I disagreed with this assessment based on my own experience with this condition over many years. When I tried to express my concerns, the call was ended. The practice continues to attribute various issues to pandemic-related factors despite services elsewhere having resumed normally. I'm also uncomfortable with the requirement to disclose my symptoms to reception staff rather than directly to a qualified healthcare professional.
