Dangerous delay in addressing my life-threatening allergy

I recently underwent a critical allergic incident (wheat-related exercise-triggered anaphylaxis) which required emergency medical treatment. The episode was terrifying, characterized by persistent respiratory distress and significant bodily swelling. Upon subsequently reaching out to my primary care practice with urgency, I was met with a cavalier "no concerns" stance and relegated to a 4–6 week standard appointment queue to "generally discuss allergies." This handling was callously indifferent, fundamentally unsafe, and demonstrated a profound lack of comprehension regarding my uncommon yet potentially fatal medical condition. My specific syndrome demands immediate professional attention, consistent medical oversight, and specialized referral to mitigate risks of subsequent emergency interventions. It is unacceptable that I must advocate so strenuously to have a life-threatening medical event acknowledged with appropriate seriousness.
