Dangerous medical care at st stephens gate practice

Terrible encounter with doctors at St Stephens Gate Medical Practice. One physician completely missed diagnosing my medical condition (which I later discovered had clear, potentially life-threatening indicators). Instead, he incorrectly diagnosed me and prescribed inappropriate medication, which worsened my already distressing symptoms. He then misdiagnosed again, prescribing another medication that produced alarming side-effects (which he bizarrely attributed to the original misdiagnosed condition!) I was forced to discontinue these medications myself, as the doctor never reassessed or stopped prescribing. During another incident, after a consultant prescribed medication for a purportedly non-serious condition (which I later learned had no scientific basis and which I never actually had), multiple practice doctors were aware - having conducted the tests themselves - that I was experiencing serious cardiac side-effects from the medication. They incorrectly suggested these side-effects weren't medication-related (despite the effects emerging only after starting the medication and with no alternative explanation). None advised the consultant (who was aware of the side-effects but reluctant to stop prescribing) to discontinue the medication. Once again, after independently researching the medication's potential effects, I stopped taking it myself, and predictably, the side effects ceased. These physicians were not just incompetent but dangerously indifferent to my health and well-being. A competent doctor should: confirm diagnostic accuracy; conduct thorough assessments; carefully evaluate medication risks and benefits; monitor potential side-effects and discontinue medications when necessary; and protect patients from potentially dangerous prescribing practices. Based on my experience, such professional standards are unlikely to be found at St Stephen's Gate Medical Practice.
