Decades of loyalty crushed by poor medical care

It breaks my heart to pen this review - having been a patient at the original Clarence House, and now Clarence Medical since my birth over seven decades ago. Getting an appointment with an actual GP has become nearly impossible - let alone seeing your own physician. Dr Simon Dobson has consistently been exceptional - a thoughtful, expert and empathetic doctor who truly goes the extra mile - but securing an appointment with him or any other GP seems insurmountable. After enduring the 08:30 'phone lottery' and waiting to speak with a receptionist, you frequently encounter discourteous, irritable staff who appear utterly inconvenienced by your presence. Despite explaining my need to see a doctor about back and leg injuries sustained from falling through the attic hatch, I was told I could only consult a nurse. The interaction involved no proper physical examination - merely listening to my chest to confirm lung clarity, and then being advised to take pain medication. A week later - experiencing worsening chest pain and unable to sleep comfortably, I again requested to see a GP… once more I was refused and directed to the nurse. Again, no examination took place - and I was simply prescribed something to aid my sleep. After three weeks, I'm left with damaged ribs, intense chest pain and a left knee still painful and swollen - with a distinct sense that Clarence Medical no longer cares about a patient who has been with them since 1950. I've transferred to another practice … I've reached my limit.
