Departments don't communicate with each other

The practice feels disorganised, with little consistency across different areas and poor communication between departments. The reception staff came across as unhelpful and lacking in understanding. On one occasion, I waited on hold for an extended period despite the practice not appearing busy at the time. I had a positive experience with my previous healthcare provider for many years, but following a merger the service deteriorated significantly, with difficulty obtaining appointments and staff interactions that felt dismissive. Since moving to another practice, I have noticed a marked improvement in how I am treated and feel genuinely heard by the team.
