Deregistered without any warning or notification

I have been a patient at the medical centre in Durham since 2021, and when I recently attempted to book an appointment for a heart trace test, I was informed over the phone that my registration had been terminated. I had not received any prior notification through text, email, or telephone regarding this change, which meant I was unable to secure the appointment I needed. What concerns me most is that my medical records appear to have been lost in this process. I find this situation quite distressing and am uncertain how to proceed. I would encourage the practice to ensure that patients are properly notified of any changes to their registration status in the future.
