Disappointing decline in medical practice quality

The medical practice's service quality has plummeted dramatically, which is deeply disappointing considering their exceptional performance during the pandemic and lockdown periods. Their previous reliability now seems like a distant memory. During a recent doctor's appointment, I encountered a healthcare professional who was unable to address my physical issue and provided no explanation. To make matters worse, the receptionist was left to interrogate me about my medical concerns in the crowded waiting room, creating an incredibly uncomfortable situation. The fact that the receptionist appeared more knowledgeable than the doctor speaks volumes. As a final blow, I discovered the doctor had incorrectly printed my prescription, further undermining their competence. This incident occurred just days ago, but today's experience has been equally frustrating. I've been anticipating a phone consultation for weeks regarding a routine medication adjustment - a call that should have been straightforward. Instead, someone mistakenly scheduled a face-to-face appointment, despite my clear request for a phone consultation when I originally booked. After speaking with the receptionist, I've now been forced to cancel my afternoon plans, waiting uncertainly for a potential callback. To reiterate my initial point, this practice demonstrated remarkable professionalism throughout the pandemic, maintaining impeccable service during an incredibly challenging time. It's bewildering and disheartening to witness such a dramatic decline in their standard of care now.
