Disappointing gp service with poor patient care

My interaction with this GP surgery has been consistently subpar, especially since the Covid pandemic. Rather than showing improvement, the quality of care and responsiveness has noticeably deteriorated. When I sought guidance from NHS 111 about an open wound, they indicated it was a straightforward matter that my GP surgery could handle. Yet, upon contacting the practice, I was abruptly redirected to the hospital — a response that felt unhelpful and dismissive, particularly given the uncomplicated nature of my request. The ongoing problem of appointment availability remains frustrating. Despite the surgery appearing calm and uncrowded from the outside, same-day appointments are virtually non-existent, which suggests a concerning approach to patient care management. In summary, I've found the service severely lacking in both accessibility and fundamental patient care — critical attributes that should be standard for a primary healthcare provider.
