Disappointing service for a stressed caregiver

I called the medical practice a fortnight back and had a helpful conversation with a compassionate doctor. As a full-time caregiver for my elderly 90-year-old father, with no alternative support, I inquired about COVID vaccine eligibility. The GP instructed the receptionist to ensure my prompt vaccination in category 6. After hearing nothing further, I rang again, only to be confronted by an extremely discourteous receptionist who claimed I'd been downgraded to category 8 and demanded documentation to prove my original status. Am I seriously expected to provide evidence while managing my dad's basic care needs? The suggestion is absurd. I have significant health complications including severe hypertension and asthma, so this treatment is completely unacceptable. Thanks for nothing, Park Medical.
