Disappointing service left me seeking new gp

On 07/07, I reached out with some pressing health concerns. They promptly scheduled me for a blood test the very next day, 08/07. After being told I'd receive results within a few days, I followed up on 14/07 to inquire about my test outcomes. They confirmed everything was normal. When I explained that I'm experiencing ongoing issues impacting my work performance and requested a follow-up appointment, the response was disappointing. I was told I'd be placed on a waiting list and contacted when an opening became available. When I pointed out this approach differed from my previous experience, they claimed it was a new policy implemented recently - despite my appointment being just a week ago. The interaction left me feeling deceived and dismissed, with no clarity on why I'm struggling to maintain my usual work productivity. Needless to say, I transferred to a different GP practice within half an hour of this frustrating conversation.
