Disastrous nhs appointment booking with zero customer care

My recent encounter with the NHS reinforced the negative reputation of their patient service. Attempting to schedule a flu vaccine for my toddler was an incredibly challenging ordeal. After numerous failed attempts, I finally got through on the phone. The staff member who answered was so hurried that she quickly provided a date and time, and before I could even ask about appointment confirmation, she abruptly ended the call. I recognize they are overwhelmed with work. However, this doesn't justify leaving patients feeling unattended. I'm genuinely perplexed about the effectiveness of their current system if they cannot adequately address basic inquiries and concerns from individuals like myself.
