Discriminatory healthcare left me feeling angry and ignored

Unfair treatment from this general practitioner. When my partner and I came in for our initial registration appointment, the experience was blatantly unequal. As a female expatriate, I was simply instructed to stop smoking, had my physical measurements recorded, and had my blood pressure checked. My partner, being a white male, received comprehensive urine and blood tests as a precautionary measure and was seen by a doctor, while I was relegated to a nurse. Notably, I have a disability and am on multiple medications that haven't been consistently monitored by the GP. The discriminatory approach was appalling, and when I contacted the practice to express my concerns, they dismissively suggested the additional tests weren't necessary. These are standard procedures! I haven't undergone routine blood or urine screenings in nearly ten years, making their casual response even more unacceptable.
