Dismissive care at greenwich peninsula practice

I have always championed the NHS and praised its exceptional healthcare. Regrettably, my recent interactions with the Greenwich Peninsula Practice have been profoundly disillusioning. Throughout the past month, I have been unwell and sought assistance from the practice twice. Although I managed to secure appointments each time, I departed feeling overlooked and disheartened. During my initial consultation, the physician was resolute about her diagnosis without genuinely hearing my concerns. While I acknowledge her medical knowledge, it was deeply demoralizing to feel marginalized when attempting to articulate my symptoms, which I understand most intimately. It seems inconceivable that a treatment strategy could be formulated without a comprehensive exploration of the patient's personal experience. My subsequent visit was scheduled with a nurse rather than a doctor, only to discover she lacked the qualifications to address my urgent medical issue. When I tried to discuss this with the receptionist and request a doctor's appointment, I was curtly instructed to telephone the following morning. Such treatment falls dramatically short of my expectations and what I consider appropriate. I sincerely hope the practice will reassess its patient care approach, as my recent experiences starkly contrast with the NHS standard I have long respected.
