Dismissive doctor left me feeling frustrated and unheard

During my medical appointment, I encountered a trainee GP who was courteous and made a genuine effort to assist me. A fully licensed physician subsequently entered to confirm his recommendations. She proceeded to interrogate me about my health concern, then proceeded to trivialize my symptoms, effectively making me feel foolish for seeking professional medical guidance. Her suggestion was simply to search online for solutions! The irony is particularly striking, given that prior to my visit, I had already researched my condition online, which had explicitly advised consulting a medical professional. I departed the clinic feeling demoralized and reluctant to return, questioning the value of seeking medical advice when the primary recommendation is to browse the internet. Notwithstanding this experience, I must acknowledge that the doctor I typically see at this practice is exceptionally competent.
