Dismissive Doctors Ignored My Ear Surgery Concerns

These are undoubtedly the most incompetent medical professionals I've ever encountered.... negligent doctors who consistently attempt to deflect and avoid patient interactions. In every situation, they try to redirect responsibilities to the pharmacy or 111 service. I underwent ear surgery three days ago, and my bandage was causing significant pain and appeared unclean. Since yesterday, I've been attempting to contact my GP (my primary medical point of contact) to determine if the bandage requires changing. However, my doctor chose to communicate through his secretary during our phone conversation, and when I requested direct communication, they abruptly terminated the call. I am not a medical expert, and they fail to comprehend this fundamental fact. They do not understand that patients contact them out of genuine health concerns, not for casual conversation. Sometimes we merely seek confirmation or clarification about our medical condition, yet instead of showing empathy, they casually refer us to Google. While other medical practices remain accessible, they maintain a closed-door policy—imagine being unable to directly approach your GP. The absurdity reaches new heights when, for something as simple as providing a urine sample, they direct patients to a separate nursery adjacent to their facility, forcing patients to navigate additional inconveniences despite being their clientele.
