Dismissive Receptionists Ruined My Prescription Day

Despite my inclination to award a single star due to my frustrations, I can't bring myself to do so because the medical professionals here are commendable. The issue is entirely with the reception and administrative personnel. Today, I visited to address the fact that the neighboring pharmacy has misplaced my prescription for the fifth time. The receptionist was incredibly dismissive, bordering on condescending. This isn't an isolated incident with this particular practice. Their attitude suggests an unwarranted sense of superiority, looking down on the public while earning barely above minimum wage - it's utterly ridiculous. They need to recognize their role as basic administrative staff, not some elite professionals. I strongly suggest the practice invest in customer service training for their administrative team and teach them to address complaints proactively instead of treating them as mere nuisances. Update: In response to the practice's statement below, absolutely - I will be returning to lodge a formal complaint and bringing professional customer service trainers with me. This approach might well need nationwide implementation, given the notorious reputation of doctor's receptionists for their abysmal treatment of patients.
