Doctor kept us waiting 30 minutes, then nothing

My partner's appointment was delayed by over half an hour, forcing him to leave without being seen. He checked with the front desk twice to find out what was causing the hold-up, yet despite other patients being attended to promptly, staff couldn't provide any estimated wait time. Before departing, he requested that reception schedule him for the next available slot since he had another commitment, but the system only recorded it as a cancellation rather than a rebooking. Now he's stuck waiting until after the weekend to try securing another appointment. I really wish he could switch to my GP practice—they would never allow something like this to happen.
