Doctor refused sick note after surgery
Sharing feedback on behalf of a family member. During a telephone consultation, the clinician was dismissive and declined to provide a medical certificate despite the patient having taken time away from work following a surgical procedure and being unable to return to their employment due to ongoing recovery needs. The interaction was deeply frustrating. The family felt the response was inadequate and have decided to register with a different practice. The clinician expressed reluctance about issuing medical documentation.
Not somewhere I would particularly recommend.
