I find this practice to be extremely frustrating and unhelpful. Obtaining an appointment is nearly impossible unless you arrive at the door very early in the morning, which is impractical for anyone in employment. The approach of redirecting patients elsewhere rather than offering brief appointments feels dismissive, particularly when you have already explained your work commitments. I submitted detailed information through the online form system, which the practice actively encourages, yet received generic responses that appeared to ignore everything I had written. I was repeatedly directed to alternative services instead of being offered a consultation slot. After seeking guidance from another healthcare service, I was advised to contact my registered practice, with the expectation of receiving a call the same day. Instead, the practice sent a text message directing me to go elsewhere once again. It is deeply frustrating that accessing care at a surgery where I am registered requires such effort. The practice shows little regard for the online forms patients are encouraged to complete, and telephone lines are not answered during opening hours. This is not an isolated incident for me; I have experienced similar difficulties previously and have had to seek help through other means as a result. On a previous occasion, I followed all the correct steps by completing a form and providing my availability. I was told an advance appointment could be arranged, but then instructed to submit another form on the morning I could attend, with assurance of a same-day slot. When I completed this form as instructed, it was overlooked throughout the morning. Only after I called to follow up were I informed that all appointments had been taken. This forced me to attend an alternative service, which subsequently referred me elsewhere due to the delay. I intend to register with a different practice and cannot recommend this surgery to anyone seeking reliable access to appointments.
