Endless wait and total customer service nightmare

Currently attempting to reach customer service. Endured a one-hour wait only to be informed I was next in line. Subsequently, the call transitioned to a continuous ringing, which I've now been listening to for half an hour. My spouse is simultaneously trying to contact them and is progressing through the queue, yet my call has mysteriously stalled after supposedly being second in line. This is absolutely unacceptable.
