Endless Wait for a Phantom Phone Call

I got a return call from the doctor's office where they barely let the phone ring once before disconnecting. I wasted an entire hour waiting in the phone queue, which is somewhat normal, but when I finally reached the front of the line, the phone rang continuously for over 5 minutes with no one answering before the call abruptly terminated! Completely unacceptable - they desperately need to either recruit additional front desk personnel or train the existing staff to improve their customer service!
