Endless wait for no apology

I was stuck waiting at the top of the queue for a full 20 minutes. When the receptionist ultimately picked up, they didn't even offer an apology for the lengthy wait. The only reason my call was eventually addressed was because we strategically dialed in on another phone, which then entered the queue, prompting them to finally attend to my call.
