Endless waiting and broken promises frustrate customer

I've been stuck in limbo for more than a quarter of a year, just trying to get a straightforward document processed. Every time I reach out, I'm given the runaround—told that the responsible staff member is absent and promises are made to follow up. Yet here I am, still hanging and waiting with no resolution in sight.
